Thanking Dr. Gotabhaya Ranasinghe for His Contributions to Cardiology and Clinical Research

We at RemediumOne are honored to have worked with Dr. Gotabhaya Ranasinghe, a distinguished Consultant Cardiologist at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist to the Sri Lanka Navy (Surgeon Rear Admiral). A former President of the Sri Lanka Heart Association (SLHA) and co-founder of the ‘STEMI Sri Lanka Forum,’ Dr. Ranasinghe has been a pioneer in advancing heart attack care in Sri Lanka. Dr. Ranasinghe has successfully performed over 9,000 procedures that include approximately 5,000 Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) thus far in his career.

We are grateful for his role as Principal Investigator in several impactful trials managed by RemediumOne, including GMRX2-Placebo Controlled trial, TRIUMPH, REDEFINE-HF, and HFrEF Polypill. His continuous support, expertise, and dedication ensured the highest standards of clinical research and patient care.
otably, Dr. Ranasinghe served as Sri Lanka’s Coordinating Principal Investigator for the GMRx2 (a single-pill combination containing telmisartan/amlodipine/indapamide) active-controlled international study, where nearly 50% of participants were recruited from Sri Lanka.
